hey folks, been while since ive been on. the nova ended up back in the garage, minus wheels and the suspension was sold on, so no been any progress to report. did however get a few other bits for it a few weeks back so thought id stick a few pics up, GSI rad and an intercooler were bought

and a nice uncut front end

also removed the old dash and complete loom

in the mean time id been try to fix my corsa, developed an over heating problem and brake issues. so the desison was made to punt the corsa on as it is as i really cant be bothered with it no more. hopefully swapping it for l reg td cavvy at the weekend if it goes ahead

I'm no turbo guru but surely an FMIC 3/4 covered with no airflow isn't going to help much.

See what ur saying ian. Bumpee bar does get in the way quite a bit. Should be fine as can see the top of throught the grille and its under the bar also where the whole in the bumper is. Not running massive boost either.

progress at last then.... been working away for a while now, got the corsa on the road, decided to give in an engine conversion and it turned out to be rotten at the front. and because it was slammed id managed to snap a coilover spring, burst a balljoint and fuk a rear axle. so kept a few bits off it and punted it. did get another one but im fed up of corsa's so thats getting swapped for a mates sri nova at the weekend hopefully (were both working and busy atm) but aye ive been doing the odd bits to this, mainly still working on the rear archs.

anyway id bought loads of bits off kev and nothing was getting used so 1st up, i painted the engine bay....

next up was bolting the engine together, head went on and box went on... still to order 2 headgaskets, a spacer plate and new headbolts though, and decided to get the engine in, block head and gearbox got painted up, i fancy getting a few bits powdercoated now when i get all the other bits done.

    comments welcome folks
