Well not really cause they have done the same as this chap ripped a car to bits ans started again. and as the golf has a 1.8t which has a 0-60 of around 6secs anyway and ita in a lighter shell there isnt much in itBut they started with something that was quick. Golf Mk1 is a 1.8 8v FWD from the factory with performance of 16.36s 1/4mile.
A lot more fabrication is required to make a 9sec Golf, than a 9sec Evo
Its 100k car so should be fast !
The green Mk2 will be catching it soon.
