    Default Van Insurance

    On the look for van insurance, was wondering if anyone had any advice on who is the best.

    on go-compare currently and its cuming up with 1400 fully comp. van is a 51 plate escort 1.8td

    any advice welcome

    If its an escort van alot of car insurance policys will insure it and not as a van to make it cheaper i found aviva the cheapest as van insurance and churchill as insuring it as a car. Hope this helps

    just my daily, building the rally car so always picking bits up, has a towbar do lots of odd jobs etcetc...

    When getting quotes for one myself,my broker said some insurers will only cover it commercially and some will cover as a car,so i'd suggest a good look/ring round.
    How old/no claims bonus/licence held???

    passed my test feb this year...no claims. good postcode, small rural town in scotland the van is a 51 plate...im 18.

    my renewel came thru for my 1l nova in whcih id have a yrs no claims...£1600 third party!

    Escort vans are possibly easier to nick then a Nova, an rust twice as fast no wonder your getting high priced qoutes
