    id say its a dodgy earth,done this a few times,also never turn your amp up past half way,as they can over load,as got told off before for doing it,when i fitted them in one of my jobs

    Do you have another amp you can try? Borrow one from a mate etc...

    I had a similar problem with my old M605 - minimal bass unless the volume/power was set high then it was a bit intermittent - turned out the amp was goosed where some water had leaked into it, whoops
