Picked a rear disc beam up a few weeks ago So there may be an update and fresh pics soon! ODW is currently out of MOT and SORN but not for long, im missing driving it, just need to do a few more tweaks before its back on the road, pics to come at the weekend

Here are some pics, apologies on quality! This work was done in May this year, since then I have been a little bit pre-occupied with my son arriving in June.


This was how it looked once un-covered in a sorry looking state.


With a bit of a freshen up under the bonnet, poly bushed steering rack mounts. A bit of Spaghetti wiring to sort out!


E16SE bottom end bolted in out of my Hutchinsons Cab. Mounted on solid mounts.


Cylinder head on with intake manifold etc sourced from a rally car with an ecu that's been 'fiddled with' .


Getting there now, engine runs!

There will be more updates soon, The car needs a full respray so that will take a bit of effort and money to sort out. Plans are keep the engine fairly standard for a start, i need to swap fuel tanks as its running out of a carb tank at the moment so isn't ideal at all! most of the underside rust proofing/ repairs are done. I have a rear disc set up to go on. I think this may take a while...

Looking good, what colour are you thinking for the respray? Or just a refresh of the red?

It will be staying red, just trying to source parts like a front grill and a decent bonnet as the white one was slapped on it

You have to fit an intercooler? It's had the recess cut and everything! Lol

All in good time! I may end up putting a front panel on it but it depends how difficult it will be to get the bits to make it 8v turbo... again!
