ok its prob a duff relay then, thats fine, ill replace that, its was working fine in the car when the SPi was in there, unless it was on the wire loom for the engine, which in that case, i have another 2 looms to take one of

i'm right in thinking the fuel pump got replaced?
The fuel relay for the 1.6 8v is on the engine loom, sits at the back of the bay on the firewall
