    Default *HOW TO* take apart and clean c20xe lifters

    rite i asked the other day about my tappy xe and people said clean out the lifters so ive got lifters out ready to clean how do i go about it as i cannot seam to get them apart

    Smash the casing (on the left) down on a piece of wood to get the middle bit to fall out. Then take the middle bit apart in to two pieces (2 bits on right) and clean the inside and outside of that thoroughly. You can also remove the ball-bearing and tiny spring by removing the little clip from one side (on top of second piece from the right).

    I cleaned mine in brake cleaner and used a wire wheel on a bench grinder for the outside of the inside bits (after this pic)
