A really big padlock and chain??
Or a kill switch for the coil, no sparkie no startie.
success is only limited by a weak mind

my toad insurance approved(im told) brand new immobiliser system
A hidden cutoff valve in one of the fuel lines. You can get electrical ones. Anything less and you can steal a carbed nova with a piece of wire to bypass any ignition-based immobiliser.
good idea dan.
Let everyone know youll tare them a new hole if they nick it
Erm, snapoffs are useless, I can still drive mine even with the wheel off, as the boss is that big, its drivable
Erm, Pop your dizzy off and take rotor arm with you, hidden cut off to the coil, Personally I wouldnt go for the fuel line cut off, but thats just me
There is no point cutting off power to the coil on a carbed nova. If you wrap some wire around the coil feed terminal and battery positive then give it a quick push, you're off. The only other issue is the steering lock, everything else will work.
Taking parts out is great when you lock the car up at night, but not easy when you just want to nip to the shops and so on.
fuel shutoff on a carb engine is not good, cos there is about 1/2mile worth of fuel in the pipes & carb.. kill the coil feed with lockable keyswitch
