Surprisingly it is only 930kg empty, the kerb weight of the S3 is 1460kg but with it stripped I based it on being 1200kg ( probably lighter though ) so well under the 3500kg limit of the D-max I used

Looks like you had room and weight capacity to get the Nova on there as well!

The Audi is 4.1m and the nova is 3.6m unfortunately the trailer bed was only 6.5, very close but would need to have done some dodgy loading to get them both on, not really worth the hassle

I know LoL it was the only trailer I could get a hold of at short notice, probably couldn’t find a bigger one if I tried

So this is what Kenny is up against, the nova front panel section is sitting at the distance from the wheel centre to where it would normally be in the nova

As you can see there’s a fair bit of difference!

Lucky the turbo is at the back of the engine so only the need to sort out where to put the incidentals like the full cooling pack, lights, intercoolers , that sort of thing.

Nothing major, I’m happy it’s someone more intelligent than me who’s doing this

Well the strip down keeps going, the idea is to keep the nova upper scuttle panel for the sake of the wipers and windscreen but below that will be all Audi bulkhead to incorporate all the Audi systems and heating

As you can see there will be a bit of trimming to the dash required

The front end is a hell of a squeeze but final space won’t truly be known untill the nova body is on the Audi chassis

Kenny has done more in a week than I’d manage in a decade !!
