Small update:
Went to the shop today to give the guy my locking wheel nut so he can finish things off. He's planning to get all weld work done by this weekend so that as of next week he can start filler, smoothing and primering.
So, fingers crossed, some more tasty pics should be available tomorrow.

They're not 'wanged on'. I double checked today when I went there. He cut the original panel and then fitted the new panel on but put a slight overlap of the two panels. He did do cutting as the inner arch was in worse shape than the outer arch so he did plenty of cutting and cleaning.Originally Posted by Rick Draper
