Ps3 Gt5

Whether or not this will turn into a full on proper GT5 thread we'll see.
The final version of the PS3 forza3-rival is about 6-8 weeks away from release.

Im pre-ordering, i got a PS3 xmas '08 free with new phone contract, and ive been a big fan of all the GT series since it came out on the PS1. (tho i never got gt4 for some reason :-s) Ive been playing gt5 prologue since i got my ps3, so its only natural i get all giddy about this fifth; best ever version.

I downloaded the gt5 demo at xmas, tried it out for a couple of days and so far a little disapointed - its just the same as prologue and the handling isn't very realistic..
The gt5 demo is a time trial in a 370z one tuned, one standard and the two times are added together and ranked online in the country.
Last i looked i was up to 2060th-odd, 8 secs or so off the fastest time. .
Tho, i only use the standard 6-axis ps3 pad. Everyone inside the top 1000 is using a £100 logictec wheel and pedal set up - much easier to get a faster time..

Anyway, anyone else into it too, trying the demo? looking forward??

i want it yesterday not pre ordering though as it was supposed to origionaly be out before crimbo and has been delayed so ill wait till it actualy comes out but cant wait for it realy

ive got the time trial demo and only had a go. think im going to get the wheel and pedals with it when it comes out

You have downloaded the GT5 time trials (the name escapes me at the moment but its for the competition that takes you off the sofa and into a real race car like they did before & raced you in the 24h race!)

The new GT5 looks fantastic, I have had my copy reserved (@ £35 so nyah! ) on play.com for nearly 2 years now!! I cant wait for it to hit the doorstep!!! www.gran-turismo.com has more info on the game & a few REALLY good screen shots!!!

As far as the damage goes its restricted to light scratching & dents on normal road cars, on Race spec & rally cars its whole hog (probs because it would piss most of the fans off to the point of removing bookings etc and they'll put it on an update)

Awesome, I'm going to pre-order this, been waiting for years! Loved GT4 when that came out and played it to death. This should be really good, they're had long enough to perfect it!
