swap and change all you want if what your after is good sound at a cheap cost. most people go for a single brand either so that it looks nice or because they have got a nice price on all there bits in the one deal

i do like alpine and i will shortly be getting an alpine headunit as mine is buggered. i also rate pioneer for headunits but as for speakers i dont think it makes much difference on the make as long as they dont cost 20p from netto. and that they are quality goods
infinity reference all the way
but thats just my opinion
alpine are good but as rj said phoenix gold and jl are the nuts aswell
Reference is Infinity's cheapo line! Kappa are the "better" badge from Infinity. Their stuff is good, yes, but its still budget range. Couldn't compete with the likes of PG etcin terms of quality

any of you guys heard of the vibe black death sub? if so how do you rate it coz im quite fancying one.
jl, cerwin vega and rockford fosgate imo. but vibe black death is a monster sub
ALPINE OUT THE 2
but i like my music sound perfection so soundstream and bravox are worth looking into
Very true, my ref-5.0's didn't last too long connected to a measly 75W/channel amp (bass testing cd's might have had some involvement!), but they were good before they started farting.Originally Posted by Razorjack
Alpine reputedly make the best heads, but I've allways gone for kenwood.
