Cracking read. Top notch work from the start
Cheers.
Been tinkering with the engine since it's raining.
Got the crankshaft sprocket bolt off with a screwdriver wedged in the flywheel, an XE manifold as a prop and my breaker bar:
Then stood there wondering what I should remove to check for wear/scoring/marks/signs of damage. What should I be looking at? Everything?
Holes in the crankshaft, are these standard and what are they for?
Removed oil pump too, been told to replace with GM one only?
