True Simps, but where's the fun if something fits without mods? I do feel quite stupid going to these lengths to have 6J wheels with the right offset though!

I did the arch widening technique earlier using a bottle jack. Worked well. Worked very well in fact. I got so carried away I've got quite a large flare on the rear arches! 6J might be wide enough to fill them now!

Pressing it out while heating with a heat gun:

    Flaaaare:

Skim of filler as it distorted slightly where I had tacked it to the inner tub:

Plenty of room now (well, not this low as it's too close to the arch lip I've left at the front!

Also picked up a Corsa brake pedal assembly from the scrappers:

Just need to work out how and where to fit this to the tray:

I'll go hammer them back in to the original shape.

I thought they looked ok. I'd roll the front bit too tho and gradually fade it out to normal if that makes sense.

It does Simps, I'll try my best to get them looking good!

Dry fitted the Corsa brake setup earlier, copied a few people's WIPs for placement, although the bit inside looks quite far forward? Does it all work out ok once the pedal has been shortened?

    In place in bay:

    How it lines up inside:

Picked up a new F20 casing to replace the cracked one I've got. All clean and shiny so that saves me a job as I hate transmission fluid! Thanks to Colin Smith (novarally)!
