Yes the diag up front will rest nicely on the front splash guard so that lends itself to tagging there too.
If the door bars were any higher then I'd look in to bends, but I think it'll be ok with just a straight bar - and agreed attach it to the exhaust tunnel.

Still not sure on the rear parts but might as well get enough CDS in case I choose to do it

Scott I'm doing the rollcage if that's what you're asking.

Oh, not sure yet, I'm still waiting on a couple of more local quotes as it'd be much easier for me to take it somewhere nearby.

Thats fair enough, just one thing i will say, the price quoted was at a slightly lesser rate as i said your a very good friend , also he would do a very good job, and i could go down and check up on it for you etc.

But if you get a better local quote even better for you as you say.

    Scott

Well I got the block back from being honed. Looks like there is a small gap missed where there's a slight lip on the bore, but I assume the rings will still bed in okay?

You can see what I mean here:

Also crank was reground -0.25mm on mains and big ends and polished up:

Replacement sump, already clean which is a bonus! Looks like it's been media blasted too?

Ruler test on the top checks out good so it's not warped either:

Now the parts are back I have ordered lots of OE (mainly Mahle) rings, bearings etc from Autovaux, which will hopefully arrive tomorrow.
