One block is +.5 but the other is standard, would be good enough with Mr Burgo's pistons to atleast get it back rolling while you decide what to do with the engine you have, got a standard head here aswell with valves in, could do with a clean but if you need it I'll get that done for you and bring it up, get you back rolling for the summer season!!

Seeing as we are all being charitable il throw in a once used (few hours) Cometic 1.3mm gasket, if you think you can use it.

And now I think about it I'm sure ive got a water pump and tensioners but I'm guessing you can borrow these bits off the existing engine!!

look at that, between us we've built an XE!! The bugger will probably make 160 horses and last 10 years!!!

Good effort lads team spirit. Ha ha.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming, “DAMN, what a ride!!”

Ha ha thanks guys very charitable. I'll give you all a shout what I need when I need bits!

Amazingly it doesn't look like its damaged my block so if I could source some 87mm pistons I could be back running with minimal parts. Was toying with a new bottom end purely to avoid the faff of running in period and bedding in rings.
