    Swedge - the difference between having 0 years and 2 years NCB could be hundreds of pounds.. do yourself a favour and leave a policy running for a full year and then see how much your insurance drops.

    I looked at a 1.6 conversion when I started driving as I thought it was fairly tame, but flux didn't the difference in that between 0ncb and 1ncb (when I took it out the next year) was ITRO £2600

    Just leave it for 14 months, then you have all you need to prove your legit..

    I've read this again.

    What you have said is not right. If you had a policy in your own name, running for a full 12 month period (claim free), regardless of how many times you changed the vehicle, you will still have built up a years NCB.

    If the company who are/were insured with are saying otherwise then I would get on the phone to them straight away and sort it out. You could potentially save yourself a lot of money

    no i wouldnt and never have driven without insurance and never will

    the plan is to get insurance elsewhere

    when i changed my cars n the policy they have told me that it starts a brand new 12 month policy

    Gave me a superb price on my vectra and Nova, but wont insure Escort Cosworth's

    good news on the Vectra and Nova.. unfortunately the all Cossies are excluded from our car club scheme due to high claims loss ratios, it's not just the Escort.
