Aaargh digi dash probs HELP

Hello all.

I have fitted a digi dash to my TD, but the revs on the dash are up to the redline. If I rev the motor and take my foot off the pedal the revs on the display go down for a sec, but then shoot up again when the motor is at idle.

Any ideas anyone?
