luxe plus wiring

right im putting a 2l 8v in and i dont know which wire from the original i have to keep and which i can cut away or what any of them do,
wiring has never been my strong point and ive only ever converted poverty spec novas before, this has twice the amount of wiring so any help would be great

does anyone know what any of these plugs are for and if they are needed at all thanks in advance

pic 2: thick red/blue - brown - black - red wires



pic 3: red - white/brown - yellow/brown - brown wires



pic 4: brown - brown/blue wires



pic 5: black/blue - blue/green - green - white/green

this has been giving me a headache all day so if anyone can help with any of these id really apreciate it

Right Ive Eliminated Pics 6 And 7
Theyre For The Oil Pressure Switch ( I Hope Lol)

picture 1- map sensor
picture 2- fuel pump relay
picture 3- diagnostic socket
picture 4- engine coolant temp sensor for ecu not the gauge
picture 8- vehicle speed pickup for engine ecu
picture 5 and 9 unsure- if you can get some pics of where they join to the loom and roughly lay in the engine bay i might have a better idea.

can any of these be removed once the 2ltr loom is put in place and can any be used for the loom to be connected to?

pic 5 is on the loom just after the brake servo and comes off the loom just after the map sensor, and has another 2 plugs branching off that one the the brake fluid res and one plug has a brown - blue - black with white trace wire that i dont know what thats for either,

also near to this is a fuse type of thing with 91 printed on it next to the diagnostic plug and it has a brown and a brown/blue wire on that

pic 9 the wire colour are black/yellow - black/brown - green/black i had the colours wrong in original post and it is right at the end of the loom just after the vehicle speed pickup near to the alternator and has that extra little plug in the pic with the green wire coming off it,

Picture 9 looks like the plug for the ecu pulse/gearbox sender, basically a digidash transducer, there will have been one on the gearbox/speedo cable to tell the ecu what speed the car/engine is doing!




The fuse thing with 91 on it is your RON plug, on the 2ltr engines you can swap it the other way to let the engine use super unleaded better iirc, but theyre 95/98 ones i believe whereas yours is just a 91
