    i just want to make sure, the remote cable on novas is the blue one yes? thanks

    hmm just wondering because my car battery keeps dying everytime i go to start it. dont know if its the battery or how ive wired up my amp

    for the amp there are three wires the thick red should be live all the time from the battery. the blue should only be live when the ignition is on and black is the earth

    You mean on the head unit That won't make a difference though, as that only provides a signal when the head unit is on (its called "remote" as it remotely turns the amp on).

    Easy test, disconnect the amp, if the battery still dies its something else thats killing it

    How old is the battery? Its about this time of year that batteries start giving up, with the cold weather coming in.
