Fog light/reverse light
Now i havent got reverse light switch in so had no intention of gettin reverse light to work, but i need fog light for mot purposes, thing is when i turn the fog light on, the reverse light comes on (passenger side clear bit) just curious if anyone could give me a clue as to why this would be happening? wire got mixxed up somewhere?
Looks like your car may have once had a euro fog light and had the wring adjusted so that both fogs came on. Its since been changed back to a reverse light on the passenger sire but the wiring hasnt.
Your 2 options are, either change the light unit to a euro one, or disconnect the passenger side bulb (or just remove the bulb)
the drivers side doesnt come on aswell though, only passenger
LHD loom/conversion?
maybe the prviuos owner thought you had to have a reverse light for the MOT and rigged the reverse light upto the fog switch rather than change the reverse light switch
thats the oy of old cars, someone has normally bodged repairs before you get the car
