Wow, an impressive hole.
Time for an alloy block? :)
Nice.
Looks to shift beautifully. I had the Quaife sequential in my Escort Cosworth, 'agricultural' is the only word I can use. To be fair it never broke.
Fantastic stuff. Looks like a great set-up now.
I'd love a lathe and a mill but I'm running out of room in my workshop. And out of room to extend it any further :(
That was why I mentioned it, I remember thinking it was odd when I got my R-Tech a few years back.
That's why I haven't had a go with my AC/DC TiG unit yet, I'm waiting on a friend of mine who's a pro-welder (ex Prodrive) to give me some tuition!
I'm not bad with a MiG, although that's very...
That's interesting, thanks. I had no idea you could do that.
R-Tech don't seem to list the wire feed unit separately on their website, only as a package with a 450 amp MiG
I was having some problems with my trusty (and rather old) Clarke 190 MiG, but with some fiddling with the wire tension feed and getting a much heavier duty earth cable and clamp it seems to be all...
Ignore that request House, sorry.
Just realised I can see the model number MIG-MTS-255-HF on the front.
House, which model of R-Tech welder is that one you got?
My trusty old MiG is playing up, and I'm considering a new machine.
Got the TiG torch connections plugged in the right way round? (obvious I know, but.......)
Or look at having a CWP custom made. I was considering going down this route with my Quaife F15 ?box, and the cost wasn?t as horrendous as I expected.
This is what you get in the Life Racing kit;

Looking good.
I was looking at paddle shift stuff myself this week. I’m on a Life ECU, which you can run as a GCU. The kit Life do is supposed to be excellent.
?3200 + VAT, which probably...
They are, I?ve had them on several cars previously, and the Nova will have a good few in the latest incarnation.
You weren?t alone in that thought!
Who doesn?t love Deutsch connectors?
Lovely job.
Professional detail like that on the electrics just set it apart from lesser cars.
Excellent, a shed with great potential there.
Enough height for a 2-Post lift as well.
Very impressive pace there, it's working well.
Having had those same stands, and a Nova, I would say ‘yes’!
Thanks, I hadn’t seen those used before.
Did you wire up yourself? I’ve got the Yaris coilpacks for mine, which a lot of people use, but not got them wired in yet.
Very nice indeed, always love Reverie stuff, and the cam cover is cool too.
What coilpacks are those?
Looking good, and glad to hear it's been built strong.
When I ran my Escort Cosworth in hillclimbs, the well-known aerodynamicist Simon McBeath had a look at my front splitter and told me that if...
I may be tempted by a Cadwell spectate then, haven’t managed to get there this year.
Do you not find the thing dangling from where the rear view mirror would be rather distracting?!
