That car will put in a low 53 on a dry circuit I'm sure. Good to see you are using it again mate.
Whats broken?
It would be good to get this out on track with mine at some point see how they compare. I doubt there would be much in it.
This is great news mate. Cant wait to see this all built up.
Me too, I have to go outside to warm up!
Mine are Ben's arms but the rest is all fabricated to suit my car. I run a lot of caster and my cross member isn't in the original position. Gearbox doesn't come near the tie bars on mine and yours...
You will only need the arms Colin. Tie Rods will need to be suited to your cross member and brackets may as well be too.
I have a surplus pair of brackets and tie rods if for any reason you need...
I used Mitch are ProLine Motorsport and recommended him to House, his work is as good as it gets.
All fittings are swaged, I’ll email you some pics it’s impossible to upload them here.
Colin those are what my car is done in. Not horrendously expensive and great quality. Most importantly from your perspective they and the hose are as light as a feather.
Correct front wings.
Mine is hinged, was no messing about at all. You will be furious when you take it off and stand on it, or the wind blows it over!
Sick.
Good work Housey. I just said those are what I would upgrade to at some point, didn’t expect you to go buy them! Anyway very modern, very pretty and I’m a bit jel.
Cars looking awesome.
Is that the £10 Corex that everyone else uses or something different?
Good work House
Great idea on the gearbox cooler! Maybe take the feed from a bit higher than drain plug though. I find mine crud’s up with material from the clutch plates and unidentified metals.
Nice little bit of heel toe there, We'll make a racing driver out of you one day!
Fair shout. If you can get them on and not rubbing (even when hot and mid bend) then good job.
Mine are the way they are because there’s a risk of contact. It did actually happen in the last race...
If you are using 5dr front wings on the new shell House you might as well do the 2dr quarters too.
Sounds like they had your's either in stock or on order.
Good to hear you were out again Mate. RE the Gearbox if you are ordering from Quaife I would get the order in as soon as possible. I just waited 14 weeks for my new gear kit.
Cant wait to see...
That's not a sequential shifter.
Bought another money pit?
I found the only way to get my 2.0 Nova really handling well in the dry was with tough springs and some aggressive geo. It works really well now but is definitely a handful. I'm sure there is a...
Good write up Housey. Rain is a bit depressing but you can still have just as much fun in it.
I'll be impressed if its rebuild with M-tech bits. They must be getting expensive now surely.
The best thing to do House is test it for yourself. I used to get tyre witness marks on the inner and outer arches, yet nothing near contact throughout bump static.
Im still on the fence as I...
