I don't know the guy or what's been instructed or commissioned; does he do tarmac cars / FF hatchbacks ordinarily & which bits your putting on it?

Fab work's looking 1st rate; are you considering plating the various weak spots / reinforcing rear beam bolt holes & lower arm bolt holes? Could be an ideal time.
Standard inner rear arches IMO...
Internal shifter of any description's gonna be a step up - think you'd go cable? I've just gone RJ on my cable & turret and it is seriously short (I was beating synchros before) so that's gonna be...
Altogether more serious with the shell etc now. IMO go full ham & plate all mounting points / raise them; tub arches & cage.
Sweet; shame no videos
Should be good; going for an aggressive pad?
Paint the big alcon bit on the calipers black :D
I had a fiberglass replica scoop like that bonded up from the underside many moons ago. Function wise yes a good move but (me being me now) buying two, cutting & bonding for a wider equal width could...
It's all relative with pads, disk sizes, calipers, MCs & bias etc to get it not locking rears; try not to tempt a rear bias as fun as it seems because it'll stop you dancing mid corner / on entry &...
Sooo.... How does it feel?
Looks like 1st rate work; if anything the new ARB looks to be adding spring rate & weight, where the links are perfectly engineered for lateral strength. Could try without the ARB say in the wet?
Didn't see before it runs a double bar per corner; be interesting to see the underside if at all possible?
It'll make the front feel sharper; better turn in & following stability.
That'll work wonders
Sexy time!
On the ones I've seen the top vent on the oil tank goes to a vented catch tank right at the back underside of the car
Nice 1! Yes breathers shouldn't be venting directly off the engine. IMO tank inside the car & as far back to again help balance.
The design of those Alcons are near identical with a Brembo F40 caliper; you'd be amazed at what you can shave off to make them fit!
Top bombing
In simple terms Talldave when you have a large engine driving the front wheels hung in front of the front axel anything replicated at the back will make for a more balanced handling car.
Aside...
Not sure it's a troll; just trying to help with another build based on the experiences with my beam. I found that the mount points not only take extra stress on the chassis legs but the holes...
Understand you'll want to strengthen the chassis leg beam mountings too now (inc the holes!)
That's one unimpressed lab :(
I'd love to try a trackday, but have to settle for development on the road time being.
Could it be the fluid itself; are you on a Dot 5? Fluid isn't under constant pressure from the MC else you'd...
I bought 2nd hand brembo calipers off an Alfa GTV & combined them with VXR8 disks ~ even with whatever pads they came with (probably o.e) it's not shy.
The technicalities of it are; when the...
