Lovely machine!
don't remember the last time I saw a MK1 Swift!
The Nova's looking good, glad it's winning races.
First thing I'd have said is the ICV too. Had many occasions on the Cavaliers of this happening on an otherwise fine runner..
Carbonfibre always looks cool on old motors.
Loads of lovely bits there.
I'm surprised by the quality of that retainer.
It worked the other day, but just checked and it's not working. As long as others can see it that's the main thing I guess.
I'll take another look.
Maybe it was a network issue at the time with the image host service.
Thanks for checking however
Everything apart from the Astra MK4 images are missing from my thread, Stuart.
Haven't been on here for a while (again lol) about 14 months. I re-hosted all my project images back then, but now they seem to have gone missing bar the most recent ones (about 12 images).
Anyone...
loldouble post!
Thanks bud. Any hobby to distract the mind is a good thing, in any situation... so yeah, it will certainly help. Frankly I look forward to it lol
I suspected this. I presume it's a carb out jobbie?
Evening to you all.
I know it's an all too familiar occurrence of this project losing momentum, but rarely do plans actually happen as I hope. I can't believe it's been nearly a year and a half...
Howdy all.
Having issues with the 1.3 SR. It's been laid up since Mid last year. Started fine and ran well in October '21.
Tried starting it in May (last month) but it failed to start. It turns...

Hi mate,
It's Good News! I found some right goodies in a box which I forgot to check, and within that was the bonnet struts.
Some history; Bought many years ago, fitted and used for about 18...
Had a brief look in le garage, couldn't find em and now I'm wondering where the funk they are [emoji848] I had them fitted to my nova not too long ago but I must've taken them off.
I'll keep...
Sorry mate, been a mad week. I'll dig them out today.

Cheers Southie,
I think the 4 stud Renault route may be the way to go, and that link to a manufacturer in Turkey is useful, got a couple friends over there, could probably pick them up for a good...
So not the actual image I saw/was after, however, I found someone who fitted 4 stud versions of these steel rims

Question is, anyone know what...
I'll try dig them out some time this week so you can check them out. They're a pair, all parts needed to fit.
Long shot but I recall someone a long while ago running the modern Vx 5 spoke steel rims on their Nova... these ones:
