Great project!
Fantastic Keith! I thought this one had died along time ago, so it's great to see it in good hands.
bit late in catching up - it was pissing down at dean castle last year too. few nice cars there though.
no pictures, but seen a silver mk1 with gold wheels a cobra seats a few time this week in warton / preston. looks good on the road.
that was a while ago now - may be 10 years since i purchased it from you? In fact, it might actually be 11 years as someone tried to steal it from the hospital carpark when my son was born, and he's...

Has he sold the mk1?
Nice project you have. Look forward to following the progress...
+1 - I've got one of these too. Think it's my 10th Audi and its excellent. Suspension pretty firm, but its fine.
Making some nice progress on this.
Not sure how I missed this - that's one very nice gsi Bazil!! Keep the others and parts too, you'll regret it.
did it also have the lotus badges on it? If so, think it was magazine featured years back.
i actually saw this in girvan around fireworks night cruising by a couple of times. Certainly a rare sight these days!
did he take the cars with him?
really nice right up. look forward to reading the following instalments...
would look good with later headrests front and rear. always thought the early headrests in the rear look a bit strange.
ah ok, thanks! i just checked the tax disc on line site.
like the RAC data check? Does the system you have access say anything about the current road tax situation?
yeah, i sold it about 2 years ago now. Checked the DVLA website there and its not listed so can only presume that the chap i sold it to has put his own plate on it. It was seen not long after i sold...
nice to see A16 is still looking great!
what colour is it? Any pictures?
its well shot video this - certainly worth a watch.
nice project Keith :)
