pretty sure its not the eye as i swapped the starter for the one of the other engine and still have the same problem, must be the wiring how hould it be wired?

the head gasket went on my 1.2i and i havnt had any money to repace it, so decided to put a carbed 1.2 out of my old nova in as it had recently had a new head gasket, starter,altanator etc
