I can't fault the 996 turbo except the seats, the bolsters should of been bigger and since they're electric they weigh too much for my liking. The 997 was just a facelift so I'd hold out for a 991...

You used to or still get the lower section with crossmember and it gets welded on at the front edge of the headlight panel base and that saves removing the top section if it's in good condition
