can anyone tell me what the manafacuters spec is for a Mk1 SR 1.3 Nova.... i.e what size tyres and rims are fitted by standard?

Obviously the best solution is to run them of seperate amps... 5inch speakers don't need as much power as a 400W sub .. this is also, not suprisingly, the most expensive option....

Why only 5inch...

Just to say i'm running to XPLOD 6x9's of a 2x75W RMS amp and they rock..... if there is a better pair of 6x9's for ?40 new i'd like to hear them!..

If the 4*75 watts can be bridged then that should be ample power for the subs.... you could run it of the 2*75 but for the extra ?10 or whatever you might as well get the 4*75 and bridge it.... 2...

I understand when i'm pulling away hard and dropping the clutch it's gonna wheel spin, and in the dry, that's the only time it does it... but in the wet it's a fuckin' nightmare! I was pulling away...

I thought that wider wheels might help, obviously the more grip the less chance of spinning! Do i need to buy new wheels or can you just put wider tyres on the standard rims? Any idea...

It's been a while since i did my Electronic A' Level, but i'm pretty sure that what i said above is correct.. so therefore yes.. it should work!

Actually, no .. you'll still have 4 ohm across each speaker .. if you wire them in series you'll have 2 ohms each
