Probably goes to the earth point next to the battery or direct to the earth terminal - I have done mine this way with an extra earth cable just to eliminate earthing problems .

Assuming you are no reusing the inner cv....

Maybe tack some steel strip to the CV in a U type shape over the hole and then weld a bolt on in roughly the same orientation as the driveshaft and...

Just remember you may have got a whole load of aluminium debris into the intercooler chopping the ends of the pipe off which will then end up inside the engine when you first start it up.
