RIGHT this C14SE is really getting on my T*ts now

I have tick over issues, well sort of.........

I can get the engine started it ticks over nicely at just over 1k after 30 seconds or so the revs rise slowly to 3k and stay there

TPS is new and idle control valve is new also

any ideas guys?

You checked the afm pipe for splits? Cts sensor? Check the timing? Plugs ect loads to go through.

it seems that the engine has developed a 'wheezing' type of sound after turning over, suspect inlet gasket. so i'm picking one up tomorrow
