Just a quick question.
I have removed all the bolts fixing the fuel rail and now the fuel rail is free. Do the injectors 'wiggle/pull' out of the inlet or are they fixed in?
Cheers in advance

is the fuel rail still conected to the injectors? they are held onto the fuel rail with some wiggly clips and then they just pull out, they are sealed in with an O-ring.
Cheers big gra.
I got them out - now all Ive go to do is get the f00kers back in!
new o-rings would be a good idea, there cheap enough to replace while there out and would be a ballache to replace once there back in if they start leaking! :thumb:Quote:

speaking about xe injectors, what colour injectors are standard XE and whats the next size up? i believe theare was a chart somewhere on here ages ago but i cant find anything!?!
Sorry to thread jack
thats ok mate,
I wouldnt mind knowing myself. I have cream injectors, which are used with 2.5 bar system. I have a 3 bar FPR some im a bit puzzled?!
its done on cc's not bar.
would be a handy thing to know for the future.
creams in early xe's blues in late DIS xe's. the blues flow slightly more but that is due to them running 3bar and not 2.5. the blues have a better spray pattern aswell. good flow for around 200hp
cheers :)
Will look for a set of blue me thinks
