most motor shops do it although some wont becuase the proper stuff cyanoacrylate (nasty - what they use in 2 pak paint).
you can use tiger seal or similar though just dont use silicone sealer - lol

And the best way to get the old stuff off ? I was thinking a bit of heat ?

because it perishes and water will eventually penetrate it (not as good adhesion as proper stuff). It contaminates anything near it and if you try and paint anything it goes all scabby.Quote:
