with the nova dead (see signature \/ ) i decided to move up the vauxhall ladder and brought this:

forge bottom end including arp head&rod bolts
brand new turbo
brand new front mount intercooler
vmax evo 5 software 306bhp
475cc vxr injectors
6 speed box with quaife diff
full leather not a mark on it absolutly mint, heated fronts,
18" alloys 4 brand new tyres
koni adjustable's and gmax springs
full stainless exhaust
have receipts for everything from engine to turbo
engine was rebuilt march 5000 miles ago

it made 261 bhp and 264ibft that was at 11 psi old superchip managment and standard injectors, but with the new software id say its well in the region of 300bhp now

body is mint condition, and was magszine features in revvs in 2001, not sure if anyone remembers it?

will be popping back on here now and again! most days proberly lol but not quite as often as me nova days!

looks good, my mates been after one of these for a while now, altho we're going to look at a nova sunday lol

shame fella but a least ya got a decent motor to replace it, ive always said it'd be a mk2 or 3 turbo'd astra that't tempt me away from my nova, looks like good one hope she gives ya many miles with a smile on ya face and not many by side of road bonnet up growling at her!!!

lol me and my brother have been looking at astras lately, since the guys who came to look at my car, they had a mk2 cahmp rep, and that was quick enough for me when he took me out in it! i can only imagine what that turbo'd gsi is like!

seen one like that round my way, it looked quick then it came on boost and nearly took off! it fooking flew!

looks bloody mint mate! love it!

payed 3900quid for it which i think is pretty good conciderind the spec! been looking on ebay and the 300bhp ones are goin for bout 5grand, and most of them arnt even courtney ones!

the body is proper mint! not a dot of rust any where! only thing needs doin is the front splitter has a little crack on it!

i wasnt sure if the splitter would make it on there as its so low, but it did just with millimeters to spare, but the guy was havin touble tieing it down because the towin eye sits so far back in the bumper

normally they're in BHP and RPM, must just be different format!

get my self a mk3 astra a 1.4 or something and drop my TB XE in it and do it up like that,and i still have the huge BTB manifold for a mk3 so theres another reason to do it,lol.

made 298bhp, but the bloke said it was a really hot muggy day which would of lost a few ponnies, will have to go back when its raining to get some more me thinks lol

fastes run was a 13.5 which was more than happy with, i was hopin for high 14's low 15's as i'd never run before! so was verrrry happy that my first run ever came in at a 13.7,
