a stunning car that one, couldn't make it much better in my eyes
-
Anyone get any of the green saloon going up the strip?
-
The standard of Novas was noticeably better over-all this year, stand looked really good too.
-
I was very sceptical about the show (not for our lovely Novas but for the organistation...) but thankfully it was good as far as I could tell.
The stand turn out was fantastic! I really mean that, you lot clearly put a lot of love and time into your cars :)
I loved the diversity of our lot, track slag to period show stopper to standard to Merris lol
As I walked round some of the other stands its plain to see that modding a 2000onwards car appears a very "copy cat" thing lol aside from the odd different colour to hardon blue, they were all the same
-
Bit busy getting in, luckily they didn't enforce the "omg parked by 8am" rule.
(Should this be renamed and moved to Event Reports? Wish I had some pics to add to it)
-
-
Love the pic of mine.
Was a good day, the queue to get out was unreal. Took me over an hour.
-
Tintin and the others "left", I walked past them in the queue just past the wonderful MC/handling bit. I went and had a peanut butter milkshake, watched some 1/4 mile racing, looked round the trade bits and looked at more cars then wandered back to our stand, only to find Tintin etc only inline with the toilet block lol
That was about 300yrds in 30 mins :)
Myself, Peester and Bungle waited till 17:30 and more or less drove straight out
-
Yup I was home by 6 lol. At work by 7 then home by 1 as I felt so ill lmfao
-
Any of the sport? That was very nice

You get the banner off Peester OK? Couldn't find you, dropped a text to a number that had your name in my phone and no reply so wasn't sure what to do with it!

I joined the queue by the ice cream van at 3:50. At 4pm i was by the trade stands, at 4:15 i was sat at the end of the 1/4 sted thing. Waiting till almost 4:45 for the others to catch me up... Then got to the gate by 5ish...
My car did not like the heat!
-
I had engine heat (and temper tantrum) troubles getting in, the morning into the show; I had never experienced so many blocks on the digi dash. Was frustrating, worth it in the end though. Good show as ever, too much to see to take in. My favourites were mostly non-Novas ha (pics shamelessly stolen as cba with phone uploadage)

Some stunning cars there, hidden in a sea of mediocrity.
Was the worst PV I have attended, far too many cars on display that shouldn't have been.

Haha can't believe mine made your picture selection despite being in the MIG section!!
was my first PVS in nearly 12 years!! I completely agree that modern Vaux modifying isn't what it was!! It's all about Blue Astras!!!! Still was fun seeing some guys doing pointless 1 wheel but outs before their 1/4 mile runs!!!
-
The 1 wheel wonder burn outs were awesome

Its a cracking car mate.
very valid point about blue astras..... as much as I really enjoy my arden vxr there was so many of them there that it was almost pointless having it in the show. All the novas were individual, true enthusiast's.
