Mines 2k lol
Graham Sykes offer club members a discount on insurance - if you join up for a tenner you could easily save more than that with the discount offered. Plus their prices are muchos cheapo anyway lol
£400 is cheap. I'd take that... Is less than i pay and i'm 32.
Elephant are good if the car isnt massively modified.
I always have to add 'Avoid Adrian Flucks' since they shafted me & I promised them I'd always slate them at any opportunity.
Here's a list of insures to get intouch with.

28yr old,3pts,low crime area, nova with c20let £400 fully comp with Chaucer through sky insurance.....I snapped their hand clean off...
blinking heck, I don't blame you ether, I think its my high risk area that's the problem tho.
tell you whats really narking me off, spending 10 min filling in forms then it says " sorry we cant quote you please call blah blah blah"
Haha it is a killer, Sky won't insure me either with my crappy post code, any of the classic car ones any good for you like lancaster
I'm with Chaucer, 30yrs £87 for the year. That's with all my IAM Qualifications and class1 added
this is the reply I got off Chaucer
Dannielle
Ok the reason we are not offering a quote is because I can see the vehicle Vauxhall Nova has been modified. We do not accept any modifications on any car over 7 years old.
Ive had it before when they wont cover modded cars... Lots dont want too.
how bizzare is that, that a roll cage should be seen as a negative?
Well what is a rollcage design to do. Save you when you put it on the roof, when does it end up on the roof? Cause you're driving at higher speeds/more dangerously.
Big brakes can be the same... Why do you need them? To stop better, why do you need to stop better? Cause you'll be driving at a higher speed....
If you add safety equipment, your premium goes up because they think you want to fit it for a reason (that reason being, to drive harder). Take away all the safety kit and your premium goes up because the car isn't as safe. There's not really a win situation here lol
gone with greenlight in the end, £400 with all the mods listed. still a lot tho.
It's really not.
I just find it high as im an old fart lol
lordy just got into my original account lol
I started my current policy off with co op eco insurance who supposidly only insure eco friendly cars... Started policy on a mk5 fiesta zetec s 1.6 16v, sold that. Bought a saxo vtr, Then traded that for my nova. But my insurance premium dropped from £549 on the zetec s, to a shocking £325 for the year on my nova. That is classed as standard and no doubt if it got written off id just about get scrap money. However its since been taken off the road, ive insured my partners corsa C, And the novas having a C20ne fitted :) Will more than likely get raped when i start hunting for insurance on that haha
im 47 lol
never paid so much for insurance before, my trade policy only used to be £600, only stopped that cause they stopped insuring modified and lhd cars
After 21, age means bugger all, it's all about the no claims bonus.
i finally insured my nova today im 36 fully comp with a 20xe, and all mods declared, with NIL no claims bonus, £143... plus i get breakdown cover and covered to drive any vehicle..... GET IN !!!!!!!!!!!!!! lollollol:d:thumb:
Mine is insured through sky insurance at the moment at the cost of £540 fully comp with all mods declared on a let but done a quote through Graeme sykes not long ago and they come back with £213 fully comp all declared but mileage down as 3k a year and in a garage, and im 32, 6years ncb so not bad
Brentacre. I have a 200bhp limit and no mid policy fees for changing mods and power up to that
Lancaster insurance. 350ish with a declared let and mods.
I dunno if Middlesea exist in the UK, but I'm paying ~240 sterling (for third party) in a 1.7L TD swapped Nova (literally the only insurance company that would insure me) and I'm 21.
try performance direct. they are pretty cheap
PD^ did me a fantastic quote, but couldn't give me the extras i needed. Sadly.
Graham Sykes sorted me out a great policy this year.
Don't forget Sykes do a genuine applied discount for PNG club members too :thumb:
You'll need proof of club membership, but if you haven't got anything we can supply membership confirmation details as required.
