Cracking day, never been before
The crashes were good i must say lol
- beemer into the tyres first corner
- 11 plate Megane 225, same corner, totally destroyed one whole side
- clio 182 and another beemer, both write offs into same corner
and about 2 miles from the track a CRX head on with a horse box, lad was in tears on the side of the road
i over slept then coundnt be arsed to drive up :( lol lol

Much better on a proper day. You have all day so if you get stuck behind someone for a few corners its not the end of the world. Plus less cars on track.

Thats quite scary, those pics of the Megane are almost exactly the same as the ones I took as it was crashing. Must have been stood right next to me lol
Edd, driving standards at combe action days are always pretty shonky tbh. I wouldn't take the Nova out, certainly never the GT4. Which is a shame as I'd quite like to do a trackday.

the nova wouldnt have made it back it only made one session out without problems other than warped discs and no pads lol

Um, thats not a megane 225, thats a Megane RS250, fooking quick cars, sexiest recaro's ive ever laid eyes on, and they handle fantastically well, properly sorted chassis on them, so he mustve been lead footing it like a true hero to bin it :eek:
Again. Quarry takes no prisoners. Your hitting it at over 110, got a slight left kink on the brow of a hill then a hard right when the car is completely unstable.

Pleased my mates Damson (purple) S14a doesn't feature in this hall of fame!
There was a few hairy moments at quarry, an E30 and S14A did the exact same thing as the Megane whilst I was stood there watching but were lucky enough to miss the tyres by inches. Not to mention the skidoo which you can just see in the pic below where someone faceplanted right into the wall earlier.

The 306 was weird it was cocking a wheel through Quarry and the driver did not seem to be pushing it hard at all.
