Got dragged to dubfest at Harewood House today!

Was asked by my mate Rich if i fancied going with him as he had a space as a trader and was going down for the day with his truck, wanted to take his mini but might be having to bring a beetle back and may need a driver.

So along i went to his spot at 7am on a sunday morning, had a few bits to sort and got there for 9.

Got in and found somewhere to set up his truck and mini with a few business cards and such for advertising for his recovery business..

Cheers peeps was cool to have a wander round but i didnt half feel wierd being there, was with a few peeps my mate knows locally from the dub scene and it turned out i know a few of them aswell so we ended up sat in my mates ex german fire engine/bus most of the afternoon chilling, but some of the cars that were getting the most attention, to me looked like they needed restoration lol


Also had to laugh when people were asking about reduction boxes and uprated headers and such, i just pointed to the bus's owner and was like 'err speak to him pal' haha, was a good day out though and im glad Rich took me:d

I have to question my taste sometimes, I'd love a harlequin or one of those skoda fun trucks! lol

Ask yourself a few simple qeustions.......

When did you last see a Nova Sport for sale?

When did you last see a Golf Rallye for sale? Or for that matter, when did you even see a Rallye lol Ive only ever seen one (up close & personal) in my entire life.

Just because an alleged 5k were made, does not mean theres still 5k left.

Ive only ever seen. 1 sport on the road all other times have been at shows guess if I went to big vw shows I'd see rally's but I don't so won't see them same with sports bet people in the vw scene have never or rarely seen a sport

^Probably true TBH. But its much much MUCH harder to find a Golf Rallye then a Sport!! I had look on internet before I said Rallyes are rarer :thumb:

Seen lots of rallies owned one,broke one know at least three people with one,best mate owned one and they are always for sale on dubforce.I reckon there would be more rallies left out of 5000 than there would be out of 500 rotten novasports lol

I will dig some more pics out Tom of some other rallyes that I have seen.

i love a vw golf raylle , or anything vw that was g60, the rest imo is ****ing ****, most of all the ****ty bettle, and pile of dogs muck death trap camper van.

Not into air cooled ****e myself only really mk1 and 2 golfs and i would love a limited now they are rare as only 72 were made!!
