i dunno, they are all the same arent they apart from the throttle bodie

the only thing i've noticed is the oil filter appears to be much bigger on the 1800, but i've not looked at a z16xe

its not necessarily but often seeing them whilst in the car is impossible so it there is an easier simple visual check i can do the WINQuote:

Engine number is written in usual spot in dots - only suggestion is wire brush then thin runny paint - it kinda falls into the dots to make it more legable..
Rocker cover is a bit different, but does look quite similar..

inlet manifolds are different i think, sure they are similar to the ecotec bigblock ones
the 1600 will be on map censor. and 1800 on mass air.
