Although I know for a fact there are several sub 12 second 1.8 Civic's in the UK, couple of them run 11's too. (Shame really as in America they run 10's in Civics with a few cracking high 8's)
I think there will all be turbos aswellQuote:

erm..... does PNG have any sort of ranking table?
/\ nope although there is a thread for 1/4 mile times
Would it not be better to have such info in a formatted table, rather than trawling a thread? Info could then be ranked by ET, engine class, or marmalade consistency
Marmalade consistency :wtf:lol
Surely the fastest would be a 1200i Nova.
With a K&N cone shaped pancake filter on the exhaust.Quote:

Would that be a dear admin sir...
does it matter if the car never made the road, but it made a rolling road lol
i suggested a thread ages ago but nothing was even replied about it.....still a good idea imo.
I think our v6 must be one of the quickest in the country (FWD N/A V6)

Mr Dixon that's a very quick time was that at Melborne (York)? Did you ever get the turbo version running?
that was only because he saw the meals on wheels van and thought he missed them at the care home lolQuote:

Yes. But.... it would be a good record of a whole cross section of Novas. When you tidy up your car (no matter what you do to it) be it XE/turbo/stock, you still want to know how it compares against other similar cars..... not that you're 4 days behind a 4wd W12 Mk1.Quote:

Well i'm building my nova turbo but i dont think it will be ready until PVS so we will probably have taken the V6 again after its had a few alterations, we would like to see a low 12 on that engine.
David.
