do me a favour and dig out your last MOT. what were your emission readings?

the mot bloke told me that my g reg didn't even need an emissions test

Hopefully my G reg doesn't either :)

92> need a full emission test

I was told mine didn't need an Emissions test.

All novas need an emissions test, just the carb engines have a much less strict one than cat engine'd novas "should" have.

That's what happened at my M.O.T on the project car today, he merely adjusted the carb slightly as the mixture was too rich. Then passed it on emissions.

so it had an emissions test then!!

I've got two somewhere, one pass and one fail typically I cant find them but I think I know where they are if its urgent.

its not urgent just interested

Its a 2 gas test which your nova will have, just tested on tickover. Anything 92 onwards has a cat test and really old cars only have a visual check.

Mine had one done
