Thankyou

Don't do it..
It looks better with the 3 spokes. :)
bbs rm012 would look great imo, i dont like speedlines on a mk1, the only look good on a mk2 gsi.
Well thats what I think, but would just like to see what it might look like.Quote:

i disagree, i think the three spokes look better IMO
Lovely car btw Simon :thumb:
^^ Im inclinded to agree with connorlake, after looking at both pictures the original SR alloys look more in keeping with the retro theme
yeah the sr alloys definatly do keep in with the retro look, the speedlines i think personaly do look lovely but i have always liked the sr alloys. i ave opel ones they just don't ave the slits in each spoke and don't look the same as the sr alloys
the bbs i posted on page 1 are oldschool. or ats classic, cant go wrong with those.
i love Tramont TY2 on a nova, but there really expensive.
and all of the above is euro style lol
There's some Mattig 7x14 black steels on ebay at the mo. 4x100, I reckon they'd suit it better than any alloy.
looks mint with the sppedlines :thumb:
how about grey ones like mine !!
Allesios on mk1s eugh!
Just for my curiosity these in body colour if anyone would be so kind

speedlines all the way.!!!
Thankyou for everyones input espically those who did the photoshops.....Im staying with the SR ALLOYS.
good choice simon :thumb:
Personally id have something more ''period'' but then again, i hate speedlines purely for the fact i see less steel wheels on vauxhalls!
Speedlines look toss on simons car imo, please peeps they have been done to death have a little respect for your imagination!
Mine were a one piece

http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/g...ncCCweb174.jpg
They weren't an original style but i haven't seen many if any cars with the same wheels
^^ What can I say..perfection.
As said before. IM KEEPING THE SR ALLOYS. it was purely to statisfy my own mind
My comments weren't aimed at you Simon just the general public, the SR alloys look good imo.
SR alloys are win on your car Simon but if you do go for after markets, make them retro afters
Mine are a cheap alternative to other retro wheels
