Here you go matey

Quite like the Astra GTE ones :)
They look ten times better if you fit the recesses
How'd you mean mate ?
The astra bonnet has a recess for the vents, when the recesses are cut out of the bonnet and fitted into a nova bonnet the vents sit at the right height, rather than looking proud on the bonnet
Ahh right :) I like the Astra GSi ones as well
I prefer the gte ones the gsi ones have been done to death
I just want something to feed the 40's on the Mk1 - Maybe a Trooper scoop :thumb:
i like the gte vents..
trouper scoops are soo ten years ago, along with bee sting aerials..
still look good imo.. kinda old skoolQuote:

actually b sting arials are used as OE ariels by most manufacturers
wish my evo had a b sting cos whatever ariel it has it poo (think its in rear window)
I'll just need to keep a lookout at scrappys and see if theres anything about
Anyone know what bonnet bulge is on Karl Rowntree's Nova ?

I was thinking of GTE vents on the side and maybe a Trooper scoop in the middle to feed the carbs...?
Might be a bit much but everything was back then lol
I fancy pressed in vents in mine... Dont do gte vents dude.
buy my bonnet lol
Nope lol
Hmm I like louvres as well (If that's how you spell it)
karls is an Ecosse Peugeot vent, ts a non functioning vent iirc. It took ages to fit he told me, an utter pain. Its inspired by the Integrale vented bonnet & the grp-A Renault 21 turbo had a similar thing. Personally I think the Trooper/Monteray vent suits any Nova really, It's OE & square enough to match the boxy styling.
Louvres can look OK. Obv choice though.
sorry let but the trooper scooper is a half measure, you either have a big manly scoop or none at'tall lol
lol i dont have a trooper scoop.
aye but you looking for one,
vaughan, do you remember the grey gsi on sbd throttle boddies in the mags a good few years ago? it was the only nova i seen with a scoop done right and it was a scooby one, i think from a bugeye, iirc the motor was from airdrie, defo a scottish motor, i see if i still ave the feature up my workshop tommorrow
Hmm I don't know if I know that one - I might do but not sure
