*HOW TO* do a wheel refurb
http://www.pngclub.com/forum/images/icons/icon1.gif My wheel refurb....comments welcome
well after i picked up a set of grey speedlined off gordon livesy (cheers gordon) the refurb had to be done as the colour did not go with my car.
so i got the wheels like this:

then i began sanding them down and filling and blemishes.:

then they were primed, wet & dried and primed again:

wet & dried again then on went the appliance gloss white (3 coats):

i then done the same with another and left to dry for a couple of hours:

and then the laquer:

Tip: take your time when applying top coats and laquer. its harder to get runs out of these where as primer can be rubbed down easily:thumb:
