Just wondering tho, the chargecooler, do the two pipes go into the water/heater system of the car, or to some form of intercooler?
Must have some sort of big bonnet bulge as well...
its coss-vauxs old LET van.. now owned by someone at Vauxsport.co.uk
Hadn't seen it in years, TOTB motor..
right
thats the only picture there was of it unfortunatly
and its a van you say????
i'd immagine its a real beast
yer i saw this one at p.v. what a beast and its badged up on the back as a 1.2 with a front side exit exhaust lovley
Apparently the turbo you see in the pic is a small one they fitted after knackering a big one on the Sat night before TOTB whilst mapping it.
The van has been on the scene for years. I remember it being an XE powered ICE demo van years ago then it changed hands a few times & is regularly seen on the drag strip now. B16 NOB is the reg no. Its on 17" 5 stud Alessio's.
Ideally it will have its own independent cooling system with a heat exchanger at the front of the car, also should have a large vent above it to allow hot air to vent away from it.Quote:

any better pics of the van
Charge coolers have arguments as to why they are better than IC's, but usually for different purposes. Courtenay used to switch to CC's on LETs years ago on conversions, mainly for space issues.Quote:
