135mph, 4 up in a 1.2 corsa??? Post your abuse here!

There is a lad at work that claims his 1.2 Corsa maxed out at 135mph with 4 mates in the car, i have tried so hard to get him to come clean and admit that he's lying but he wont budge apparently "i know f*ck all about cars"

so i decided to post this up so that you can all abuse him and call him a c*ock that way he will then know that not only does everyone at work think he's a c*ck but so do half the web as well! (i'll wait till this has a few replies then show it to him)

Oh and as a little insentive, when i said i'd show him up him in the nova he laughed and said that all nova's were **** and people that drive them are wan*ers and that his 135mph 1.2 would pi*s all over my 1.6 Nova!

yes hes a cock. You can assure him that firstly speedos are inaccurate escpecially older vauxhall ones - secondly I only just managed clock my Stripped XE nova at 139mph on GPS (indicated 155) and if he wants to come and try out his corsa against me then im sure we can all laugh even more at him. ;)

It would hit 135mph, down a biggg hill, with a wr box.

The only way that would happen is if the corsa was dropped from a great height.
OR if it suddenly had 160bhp, which from a 1.2 is pushing it a bit, has it got an induction kit? Or 8 max power stickers

A standard 1.2 Nova would definitely beat his 1.2 Corsa, hands down, I regularly own the owner of a 1.2 Corsa in every way in my carb 1.2 Nova! Its all about power to weight ratio!!

Did all 4 of them book the week off of work for this attempt at the chav-speed record?

135 with a 1.2????

i've had my c14nz on 185 km/h (about 115 mph), and that's it, it would't go any faster. in 4th gear, switching to 5th wouldn.t help, so back to 4th gear, but 115 was his max.

My nova gte only does 110 thats at 6500 rpm dont fancy driving on the redline so have no idea where hes got that from.

You should tell him that it'd do 150 easy and just laugh when the engine goes bang!
