Its one of those Im bored at work threads so curiosity has got the better of melol
I never did that well at school, i didnt bother trying so i failed all my GCSE's and never went to college.
Its a choice i have always regretted so I am trying to make up for it now though and i am studying for a CGLI in Electronic engineering, After that i want to go forward and do my 16th edition qualification.
Sod all; decent GCSEs (A*, 4xA, 3xB, 1xD) but crappy A-Levels (C, D & N), an HNC, a limp photography City & Guilds thingy, couple of bits from a defunct NVQ. I left college after my A-levels as I chose work experience over a degree, ended up doing a Business L3/IT L2 NVQ (it was like teaching an eskimo how to cut ice) which fell apart as the training company went bust; then returned to college to do an HND which I flunked and got the HINC instead. I'm basically now using my current job to get at least a bit of server experience and raping it for training, which the MOD are paying for - hopefully soon will be Unixware CSA certified, have the exams coming up for that one.
If I pass the Unix CSA exam I'll go on and do the ACE one, and if I'm feeling really clever the Master ACE. Also want to get some physical networking qualifications and do that when the MOD decide they want to outsource me; if that doesn't work out then I'll learn something else. Would love photography but these days I'm crap at it so wouldn't make any money lol
I like to learn stuff, but I like to learn things I find interesting, or learn by hands on. I don't like being sat in a class, having garbage dictated to me - hence why I flunked my A-Levels and HND (good at the coding and networking but stuffed everything else!).
GCSE's in various things. A few AS levels and half an NVQ in business administration.
Im currently doing my A levels in bio and chem at night school and then I will be going my degree in Veterinary Nursing.
got ok gcse's, did crap in my as-levels and now doing my A-levels.
crap gcse's ammusing a-levels.... 2nd highest A in electronics for that year, D for physics and a U for maths lol.
then a mediocre degree from the university of disney in automotive electronics engineering.
to be honest its too many and not enough qualifications for most things i want to do. so ill self fund some prince2 training and head off into project management in a few years time

An AVCE in Art and Design
A HND in Graphic Design.
Im now working as Graphic Designer so alls worked out for me. Took me ages to finally get a break in the career i wanted though. I was in the viscious circle of people wanting experience.
Not bad qualifications.
1 A, 7 B's and a D at GCSE :)
1x D at A Level, plus 2x N's hahahah (maybe not so good in these) :roll:
HND in Business Management :eek:
2:1 degree with Honours in Business management. :thumb:
The degree is pretty useless in my day job, but it helps a bit in running my small business in the evenings and at the weekend :D
GCSE's i got 3 b's, 3 d's and 2 e's
my predicted grades were all A's and B's and i was in the top sets for everythink but after fluking my threw the mocks without revising i didnt bother for the real ones either lol
i even fell asleep in my geog exam (for an hour) i was snoring and drippled on my paper, got a B and the highest mark in our class lol (mocks)

Dropped out of A levels cos I wanted to ride my BMX more :roll:
Doing my 2nd year of a HNC in mechanical Engineering at the mo, which is going well.
Hopefully off to Southampton Uni in Sept to start a degree in Mech Eng. :thumb:
