wheel polishing

does anybody know where and how much i can get my cav gsi rims polished?

The wheel would need to be blasted to get every bit of paint removed for polishing.
Also the cav rims are getting old now, could be alot of corrosion and pitting underneath the paint where it may of chipped in the past. This would be very visable and rough looking after polishing, its not a prob with painted wheels as you can use stopper or filler before spraying. But if polishing you can't do any filling and the surface would be imprefect. I would reckon you would be best of painting the wheel and then just have the lip polished

nah i got some cav gsi wheels that i wanted polished (will one day) and mine where in well good condition it was just the paint that was making them look terrible.

Don't get me wrong it would look great, but most older wheels show dents and scrapes around the rim where ignorant mechanics butcher the wheel when changing tyre's. And as i said it can't be "bluffed" if polishing like you can when painting.
