Everyone read this!!!
Yesterday morning I took my precious little Nova for her annual MOT test at a local garage of which I have used before on many occasions. I left the car with the garage at 8.30am and went to work awaiting the result later on in the day.
At approximatly 3pm I received a phonecall from the garage......'Mr Jones I have bad news'
In my reply 'Oh thats OK, I expected her to fail, afterall she is 24 years old ha ha ha......
The person on the call said ' No mate, thats the least of your worries, theres been an accident, a member of staff has crashed your car!!!
.........................SILENCE...........

Upon arrival to the garage expecting an apology I was confronted by the owner of the garage who claims he was driving the vehicle at the time asking if I had had any problems with the pedals. He says that the clutch kicked out and the throttle got stuck!!!!!!
Ive owned this car for a year now and have used it everyday with no problems at all.
These pics are of the car 2 day before this happened:

Wow that sucks mate, what happens insurance wise with that? I reckon they will have to come good for it?
-
**** the bed dude :(
gutted for you, did this use to have speedlines on?
why was he driving it? if it only went for a mot dude?

Owner of the garage is being awkward so I have to go through Insurance (of which the car is fully covered on a modified policy). But I have to wait until he has reported the accident to his insurance of which he hasnt yet!!
-
Gutted for you mate, I'd get every penny you can off him. Surely he has got to be insured for things like that!!!
-
ask them why it was off the premises (spelling) if it was in for a mot??
also who ever drove it smacked the windscreen
id be tampting if it was my cav fuk knows how you are so calm writting on here lol
-
It's all his fault mate and I'd be wanting him to pay for the car why should you have to claim on your insurance when it wasn't anything to do with you, he had your car and was providing you with a service it's all down to him
-
why cant he just put it thru his insurance the ****er, he is clearly talking a load of crap to get out of it, taking your pride and joy out and stacking it what a cont.

Bad news
Did they put it through the MOT and passed?
If it passed, are they claiming there is a issue, having just inspected it?
Car was in their care, they will need to sort it, did they have / seek permission to "road test"?
I think they have more questions to answer me thinks
