Balley mirror polished a load of bits on my bike last year, they were white and furry and they came out amazing.

fine bead blast, 1200 grit paper, autosol...work those arms out lol
I used to do it to supliment my unit I had. But I eneded up with a big funk off 3 phase polising machine! lol

You can get not a bad result with ebay kits like these....

But your best bet is buy a kit that converts a bench grinder and have a pop yourself. I know Benn for example does it differently to me. So trial and error is your friend and learn your own ways.
But one thing you must remember wear a proper mask not the crap you get with these kits a proper mask like this...

Aluminium dust and polish residue is dangerous as it's poisonous to the brain. Starts with a bit of a headache then you get poorly sick :cry:
Anyhow have a pop and see what you turn out...
is it? i read a big H&S data sheet that i got with one of our deliveries and it said "inhaling" and "digesting" aluminium dust has no known side effects :/Quote:
